Shelagh brought fresh ideas to the design process and helped us see beyond our limited perspective. With her help, we updated our entire home while honoring some of more traditional architectural elements. The space has been completely transformed and is now a more bright, open, and functional. Shelagh helped us envision a new look for our home and then gave us suggestions and samples that we loved immediately. After 12 years in our home and only halfhearted attempts at decorating, we decided we badly needed some updates and a refresh including new furnishings, accessories, and new paint inside and out. So, we searched for an interior designer who could guide us through the process of creating our new space. The designer we chose was Shelagh of Triple Heart Design and we couldn’t have been more fortunate. She’s incredibly talented and friendly and was truly amazing to work with! From the moment we met her, we knew we were in more than capable hands. She helped provide an overall design scheme, planned the timeline of the work, and helped us choose flooring, surfaces, etc. In addition, she helped source the materials and furnishings and she effortlessly wrangled subcontractors who reliably completed the work. On top of that, she even ran errands to help move things along. We needed a lot of guidance and she provided just the right touch. Shelagh is smart, confident, and passionate about her job. She balances that with listening and being patient. And, she’s very accessible. She figured out what we wanted to accomplish and transformed our outdated interior into a contemporary space while retaining the Craftsman lodge feel of the home. We absolutely love it and we couldn’t have done any of it without Shelagh. Any future project will not be done without her guidance!

WOW! Shelagh and THD blew our minds at every step of the design and build process. It's always scary spending this kind of money and dealing with contractors, etc, but not only did Shelagh come with professionalism and an artists eye, she takes in all feedback from us and is willing to listen, co-generate ideas, and work as a team to create our dream kitchen. Shelagh went above and beyond in several key areas: 1. intaking customer concerns, she knew where we'd get nervous about something and spoke to us as people, meaning she didn't talk to us like just 'another client' or one of her contractors, she treated us like her own family and supported our thoughts throughout the process. 2. follow through, she didn't let anybody off the hook, even when we were 'okay' with something, if the work done didn't meet the expectations she had of herself, she pushed for perfection and on more than one occasion, we found ourselves thankful for that quality in her work. 3. peace of mind, this is a big one for any homeowner, shelagh was available when we had an idea, she picked up the phone when we called with a concern, and we knew from the get-go that she wouldn't sleep unless she knew we were at peace with the process. I can't speak highly enough for his company!
